If you’re reading this, the Yupfeed has likely been up for less than six months, in fact it’s only really been up for about three days as of writing this. And we’re still learning a lot about it ourselves. The Yupfeed is not a startup. It’s a product that Tom and I both desperately wanted to have on the market and are financing at our own expense. We both work full time jobs on top of creating/writing/editing material for this site. I’m frankly only able to put in the “amount” of time in that I do because I only typically work 36 hours a week at the hospital. Often, the only things that are outsourced are things such as graphic design and other things that are completely outside of our respective skillsets.

You also may have noticed things such as the site not being “complete” yet still live. Or how a LOT of our early recipes are without pictures. This is not due to laziness but rather, a lack of the proper camera/staging equipment that is necessary to make certain that the images in question live up to our quality own standards. Even things such as our fitness and health pages are probably going to be sparsely updated until we can find people who are as passionate as we want them to be to join our team that also share our vision. And from the perspective of the one who built the site. It is NOT easy to build something like this without some preexisting content.

So please, be patient with us. Neither Tom nor I work in media, and frankly, we’re learning this as we go along. And hopefully tagging along on this journey will be something you come to enjoy about this page.
