The Green Bull

Recipe

  • 1.75oz Japanese Whiskey
  • 1oz Matcha Syrup (50/50 Matcha cut with Simple Syrup)
  • .75oz lime juice
  • .33oz Chartreuse
  • .25oz Black Walnut Bitters
  • Egg White

Method

  1. Add the ingredients to a mixing tin. 
  2. Dry shake to get the egg white incorporated
  3. Add the ice, shake for 20-30 seconds
  4. Double strain, allow to sit for 30 seconds, and serve

Notes

  • This is basically a Red Bull Vokda in terms of caffeine content, so be carefull when drinking more than one of these
  • The process of making this drink for the first time or two can be… unsettling, since the syrup looks a bit like pond scum
  • The best time to serve this would be either at the beginning of a cocktail/dinner party, or between the entre/dessert
